During the month of Feb. in 1995, in
Crystal Lake Il., the New Attitudes Motorcycle Club called a meeting for
all Clean and Sober Bikers who wanted the opportunity and privilege to be
a part of a Brotherhood that was one of a kind. Officially the New
Attitudes M.C. was formed. The Chicago Chapter was, at that time,
called the Cook County Chapter, as membership covered more than just the
city limits.
In 2002 the Cook County Chapter had
grown to the point where we decided that we could spit into two separate
chapters. The Northern Illinois Chapter was then formed, and we
opened up a Private Clubhouse on the Northside of Chicago, changing our
name to the Chicago Chapter of New Attitudes M.C. We have since been
able to carry the message of recovery to more places, and offer a
Brotherhood to more Bikers that have been down and out with drugs and
alcohol. With help from our Affiliate Brothers, the Outlaws M.C., we
have found our home in the city of Chicago, and have been accepted by all
Motorcycle Clubs that are recognized in the Chicagoland area.
The community around us has gone
through many changes, and as our Brotherhood changes with the times, our
purpose stays consistent. New Attitudes M.C. Chicago has earned it's
place in Chicago, and will continue to move forward in our home, to
maintain and uphold the respect, the honor, and the dignity that our
Brotherhood and the city have to offer.
New Attitudes M.C. Chicago isn't for
everybody, but is for clean and sober Bikers who don't want to try going
to "half measures" any more than they already have. We are proud to
call Chicago our home, and will continue to carry the message to the
Addicts and Alcoholics that are still suffering. What you think you
aren't, you might be. Bikers, if you have a problem with drugs or
alcohol, and want to stop, check us out; we might be able to help.
